OUR HOME RENOVATION PROCESS

So, how does our home renovation process work?
At Combit Construction building company in Edgware, it’s a simple 6-Step process!

Step 1: Quotation

Step 1: Quotation

Igor will prepare a detailed, obligation-free quotation that gives a clear breakdown of every stage or part of your house renovation, with all jobs and processes tailored to suit your job requirements. Your quotation will include everything from beginning to end: preliminaries, time schedule and cosmetic details. Your quotation should be in your inbox within a week.

Step 2: Amendments

Step 2: Amendments

After looking over your quotation in your own time, you’ll then go through it with Igor and make all required adjustments and corrections. Igor will make as many amendments as needed – after all, this is your house renovation we’re planning, and it must be exactly what you want. And no, it won’t cost anything to get your quote amended – it’s an obligation-free service!

Step 3: Scheduling

Step 3: Scheduling

When you’re satisfied with the final quotation, Igor will prepare your pay plan and schedule of works. This ensures you know exactly what will happen when, and when payments are due.

Step 4: Contract

Step 4: Contract

After agreeing on a project start date, you’ll then meet with Igor to sign the contract. He’ll confirm any final details of the project logistics and introduce you to the foreman and team who will be responsible for your project.

HOW MUCH WILL MY FULL HOUSE RENOVATION IN EDGWARE COST?

What’s the cost of a full house renovation in Edgware? Well, the cost is defined by your budget and your ambitions! The bottom line will be influenced by a host of things: the London area, the listed building and conservation area and the how expensive your taste is!

It depends on the extent to which you want to convert your home into a modern, ergonomic, and practical place for family living. Custom made carpentry and ‘wow’ features add a unique and individual touch, but of course they come with lots of extra cost.

Take an example of a home where we perform home improvements such as:

  • full house re-wiring
  • new plumbing and central heating
  • structural alterations
  • changing or levelling subfloors with new floor finish
  • insulating subfloors, walls, party walls, atti
  • thermo insulating external walls
  • changing ceiling boards and all loose plaster on walls
  • changing all doors and staircase
  • under floor heating
  • new kitchen and new bathrooms

Using good quality materials, porcelain tiles and medium range kitchen (presuming that the client provides kitchen, appliances, tiles and bathroom appliances), such house renovation would cost somewhere around £500 – £700 p/m2.
