This flat renovation is located in Camden Town, just around the corner from KOKO. The entire flat was fully stripped out, with complete re-wiring, re-plumbing, and the installation of new sash windows to meet conservation area requirements.
To enhance comfort, the flat was expertly sound-insulated. We restored the space to its traditional style, created an additional bedroom by reconfiguring the internal layout, and incorporated modern specifications throughout.
The kitchen was custom-designed and installed by our cabinet maker, resulting in a beautifully crafted space—traditional yet chic.
Challenges and Solutions:
The client decided not to use an architect or structural engineer for this project because the alterations he wanted to make inside did not involve moving structural walls. Based on the flat layout provided by the estate agency, we collaborated with the client to arrange a proposed plan, including all new electrics and plumbing.
Everything was based on my knowledge and experience. In the end, we not only completed full rewiring and replumbing but also provided sound insulation for the ceiling and walls, replaced sash windows, created custom-made furniture, and installed a new custom-made kitchen. We ensured that the style of the property remained traditional.
The result was highly successful—practical, stylish, and beautifully executed.
